This little one is all smiles, except when she’s had a long day. Her long day was topped off with pictures, but we still managed to get some timeless shots. Sometimes the serious shots (see below) are my absolute favorites! I can’t wait to photograph her again when she’s more of her smiley self
I can’t imagine a better session to kick off my photography business in Vero Beach, Florida. We spent an evening frolicking through this family’s beautiful groves having fun capturing their first photos as a family of 5.
We were at war with the mosquitoes during these sessions. While I feel they had the advantage, since we had to sit still for the camera, I think we won. We got pictures that will last a lifetime. They just got a fleeting snack.
It took about 10 seconds. The kids spotted the water, rolled up their shorts and dresses and walked right in. The parents didn’t fuss about dirty feet, wet clothes or ruined pictures. They seized the moment and followed close behind, splashing and playing while holding their newborn. These are the moments I love to capture. Moments without cheesy smiles and forced poses. Real moments.
I love the look she’s giving her husband here.
Paint sessions are such a welcome change up from regular sessions. Any shoot where a parent actively encourages their child to get messy, have fun and get lost in play is supreme in my book. This adorable little man was so lost in his art I don’t think he noticed we were there.
