When we first discussed their photo shoot they mentioned they had a unique backyard. They weren’t kidding! Little did I know I’d get to spend most of the shoot atop their pergola. I’m thinking I should start taking a ladder to every shoot. Sure beats climbing trees!

I love on-location photo shoots for moments like these. Moments when you forget (or just don’t care) that I’m up in your face with a camera. There’s always a point during the photo shoot where the comfort level shifts and no one is concerned about their hair, their smile or what direction to look.
