ONE – I really wish this family wasn’t moving

TWO – I wish I had met them sooner ๐Ÿ™

THREE – I wish I hadn’t broke their blinds (again, sorry about that!) I really never thought I was that strong.

FOUR – I wish they could have at least one photo session where they weren’t freezing

Nearing the end of their session their little man tells me he wants to go play with his truck. Naturally, I think he has a kid 4 wheeler or something in the garage. Nope. He meant Mama’s “truck”. It turns out he’s a pretty good driver. Proof once again that kids don’t need colorful, flashy toys to keep them occupied.

This is not just some random tree. This is the tree they planted in honor of his birth.

Yeah…you guys are adorable!

One more wish/hope is that you guys get a pic of your little man by his tree and behind the driver’s wheel in about 15 years. If I’m still around, I’d love to see those pics!

  1. All of these photos look great! I love the one with the little man posing with the tree in his honor. Such a great and wonderful memory that should hang in their new home! Best of luck to them where ever they shall go & May God be with them during all travels!

  2. Beautiful lady, I love you. Thanks for the wishes ๐Ÿ˜€ These pictures are beautiful, and now all I have to do is figure out where to hang them in the new place, especially the one of Calvin and his tree. I love the way you capture his expressions and personality. You are the best! (And, the blinds are all better, no worries! That was pretty hilarious.)

  3. Even commenting as a biased great grandparent, these are undeniably fantastic photos of the entire family. Calvin’s tree will always be a testament to love, strength and growth.

  4. Since I think all the ones of Calvin are great, i would have to pick the one of your dogs as my favorite….since i can’t decide which one of him I like the most.

  5. These are so adorable. Calvin is the cutest little boy. The photo of him turned around from the piano is classic!

  6. Incredible photographs and gorgeous subjects and, yes, I’m a little biased as mothers/ grandmothers should be.
I think the way you captured Cal is just amazing. My friends think he belongs on the cover of GQ as he gazes into the distance looking just adorable.
Can’t wait to see the pictures in your new house.
    Love, Gramma Diane
