Why did I start using essential oils?
I first started with essential oils 15 years ago. It wasn’t until I became a new mom and wanted to get rid of all the chemicals in my house I used for cleaning and bug repellent that I started using them consistently. What began as a simple project quickly escalated. I did my research and realized that essential oils could do much more than clean and ward off bugs.
My most common uses for essential oils are for sore joints, diy hygiene products, respiratory support, tummy issues, boosting immunity, and to aid a more restful sleep.

Soothing Blend: The perfect compliment to any massage. It’s cooling and soothing properties are amazing.
For sleep and relaxation:
Calming Blend: I diffuse this blend in my room and my kids’ rooms every. single. night! If I feel anxious this oil calms me down. If I just need a moment of peace when my kids are being insane I sneak away and sniff this in the bathroom. Hey…anything that keeps me from screaming has my vote.
Lavender: I diffuse this frequently and rub it on my kids’ feet at night. I also toss it in the bath with some epsom salts. The kids won’t bath without it anymore.
For indigestion / tummy trouble:
Digestive Blend: This helps tummy issues within minutes. Not kidding.
For supporting respiratory health and boosting immunity when you need it most:
For my kids, I rub the Protective Blend on their feet several times during the day and night at the first sign of decreased immunity. I also diffuse the Protective blend when anyone needs an immunity boost.
Respiratory Blend: My husband begs for this blend. He has breathing issues and it used to be that whenever that happened it would quickly escalate to his chest. No longer! Not since we started diffusing this amazing blend.

What are essential oils?
Essential oils are natural aromatic compounds found in the seeds, bark, stems, roots, flowers, and other parts of plants.
Essential oils are non water-based phytochemicals made up of volatile organic compounds. Although they are fat soluble, they do not include fatty lipids or acids found in vegetable and animal oils. Essential oils are very clean, almost crisp, to the touch and are immediately absorbed by the skin. Pure, unadulterated essential oils are translucent and range in color from crystal clear to deep blue.
What’s all the hype about?
In addition to their intrinsic benefits to plants and being amazingly fragrant to people, essential oils have been used throughout history in many cultures for their therapeutic benefits. Modern scientific study and trends towards more holistic approaches to wellness are driving a revival and new discovery of essential oil health applications.
