When we first discussed their photo shoot they mentioned they had a unique backyard. They weren’t kidding! Little did I know I’d get to spend most of the shoot atop their pergola. I’m thinking I should start taking a ladder to every shoot. Sure beats climbing trees! I imagine this as a huge canvas…love it!!…

Wow/Cool is what I have to say. I have been wanting a Pergola in my back yard and this just makes that more or a fantasy….but back to the pictures 🙂 They are so unique and beautiful. I can’t wait to see more!! Can’t believe how big Jazlyn is getting since last I saw her – hope to see you all at the new place in July. Again – LOVE the pictures – look forward to seeing more. It is funny to think about how our family pictures were taken back in the day……much more structure/order and they looked the same as everyone elses and year to year. This way is such a lovely way to preserve this time which is different from everyone elses. Love it.

  • CherylMay 11, 2010 - 12:36 pm

Top three shots – 1st one of little sis, Princess Spinning (I have a thing for hair shots), & Mom & Dad. What a complete portfolio of such a beautiful family.

I love on-location photo shoots for moments like these. Moments when you forget (or just don’t care) that I’m up in your face with a camera.  There’s always a point during the photo shoot where the comfort level shifts and no one is concerned about their hair, their smile or what direction to look. That’s…

Alright, these photos make me wish you were somewhere that we could get pictures done!! These are beautiful!

  • KimberlyMay 2, 2010 - 4:57 pm

I’ve been jealous of the Hinkle’s family pictures every since they met you, Kasey! No lie. But then I think, having your magnificent eye and ability to capture such precious moments is a well-deserved perk of living in Clovis (because we all know, Clovis ain’t got a whole lot to brag about). It’s hard to say which photo I love the most – so I’ve narrowed it to three: My favorite, stunning, curly-haired mamacita with Iris on her hip. Travis & Isaiah with that gorgeous blue, NM sky peeking behind a sea of clouds. And Iris, on the rug, grasping her blankie with such an inquisitive look coming from those knock-out blue eyes. Kudos all around – to Amy & Travis for creating such gorgeous children and to Kasey, for her unique talent that almost makes me want to move to Clovis, too.

  • adminMay 2, 2010 - 5:05 pm

Thanks! Where do you live? I do love to travel! 🙂

  • adminMay 2, 2010 - 5:12 pm

Thanks Kimberly! You’re right, Clovis doesn’t have much to brag about in terms of geography or amenities. However, it’s families like the Hinkle’s that remind me it’s not about “where” you live, but “how” you live and who you’re lucky enough to cross paths with. If you ever pass through Clovis, I’d love to take your photos!

  • PaulitaMay 3, 2010 - 11:53 am

Beautiful pics, but I guess it’s easy with a beautiful family like yours!!!

  • Elizabeth JamerlanMay 3, 2010 - 1:57 pm

I love these pictures. The photographer has captured the love that is in your family. You can see it in the way Amy and Travis are looking at the kids in the pictures.

  • BeaMay 3, 2010 - 8:15 pm
